Travel – By Air from the UK

The nearest and easiest airport to the apartments is Reus, a 25/30 mins drive. Ryanair is by far the cheapest and flies daily into Reus Airport, daily from London Stansted, London Luton, Liverpool, Glasgow and Dublin.

Further afield is Barcelona airport, just under a 2 hours drive, low-cost airlines Easyjet, Jet2, and Monarch etc. fly directly to Barcelona throughout the year from several regions of the UK.

If you are flying then we recommend that you a hire a car via the Reus airport, there are a number of different hire companies that operate from this location, however, Ryanair also has direct links with local companies and these are normally cheaper and can be arranged via there website from the comfort of you home.

We highly recommend that you book a hire car in advance of your journey. There are numerous hire car agencies operating in Spain, many of which have tie-ups with the various airlines so it may be worth enquiring what deals you can get through them. One of the largest hire car companies in Spain is Sol-Mar.

Travel – By Car & Ferry from the UK

The shortest ferry crossings into France are through Calais or Bolougne, using these crossings are cheaper and quicker to cross but it will then take you approx 14 hours drive to reach us. The motorways and roads are first class, far better than those in the UK, but you will have to allow for the motorway tolls, both in France and Spain.

Portsmouth to Le Havre or St Milo, a slightly longer crossing, will cut out quite a bit of driving time and should reduce the time it takes to reach us to 8 hours.

Ferries from England going to Bilbao or Santander are the easiest way for driving straight down to us. These involve one or two nights on the ferry for the crossings, a mini cruise, and will take you around approx 5 – 6 hours to reach us on the superb motorway network at the other end.
