Our Location

Situated on the Costa Dorada, the village of Ginestar is in the region of Tarragona - approximately 160km from Barcelona.

This traditional Catalan village, with a population of around 800 people, still retains many of its traditions and farming methods, and its broad and narrow streets are lined with traditional Catalan houses.

Locally, there are three small supermarkets, a bank, three bars that serve snacks and casual food and an array of small but very select shops.

In the summer, guests can choose from three outdoor swimming pools in the town, for which a small charge is payable, and this also has lawned areas where you can sunbathing and partake in refreshments.

As area is still rural - although there are modern facilities you are just as likely to see farmers driving their tractors through the village transporting their trailers, full of the current grape or olive harvest.

The nearest main town is called Mora d'Ebre, where you will find the usual mix of fine shops and restaurants - all a short drive away.
